  21.       This manual page documents the GNU version of    rrrrmmmm.  rrrrmmmm
  22.       removes each specified file.    By default, it does not    remove
  23.       directories.

  25.       If a file is unwritable, the standard    input is a tty,    and
  26.       the -_f or --_f_o_r_c_e option is not given, rrrrmmmm prompts the    user
  27.       for whether to remove    the file.  If the response does    not
  28.       begin    with `y' or `Y', the file is skipped.

  30.       GNU rrrrmmmm, like every program that uses the getopt function to
  31.       parse    its arguments, lets you    use the    -- option to indicate
  32.       that all following arguments are non-options.     To remove a
  33.       file called `-f' in the current directory, you could type
  34.       either
  35.            rm -- -f
  36.       or
  37.            rm ./-f
  38.       The Unix rrrrmmmm program's    use of a single    `-' for    this purpose
  39.       predates the development of the getopt standard syntax.

  42.       -_d, --_d_i_r_e_c_t_o_r_y
  43.            Remove directories with `unlink'    instead    of `rmdir',
  44.            and don't require a directory to    be empty before    trying
  45.            to unlink it.  Only works for the super-user.  Because
  46.            unlinking a directory causes any    files in the deleted
  47.            directory to become unreferenced, it is wise to ffffsssscccckkkk
  48.            the filesystem after doing this.
